Most of the young ladies that have won scholarships from MCABW were first generation college students and have a great financial need. The MCABW Foundation is a 501c3, non-profit organization awarding over 52 college scholarships in the past nine years to graduating female seniors of Montgomery County high schools. The ladies are required to be academically at the top of their class, actively involved in their school, and send in letters of recommendation with their application. The scholarship committee received 80 applications from throughout Montgomery County high schools based on need, community engagement, and academics. Although the event will not be until 2021 due to the pandemic, the scholarships were awarded thanks to the benevolence of many sponsors of the fundraiser.Įach of the selected high school seniors was awarded a $1,000 scholarship and will be recognized for their achievements.

CONROE, TX – The 6th Annual MCABW Foundation Fundraiser was originally scheduled for March 28th at Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse hosted by The Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW) to benefit scholarships for twelve female high school seniors attending school in Montgomery County.
